When you download a game, Mario pretends to jump on blocks like in Super Mario Bros.įorecast Channel shows you the weather wherever it is sunny, rainy or stormy. Photo Channel stores all your photos in games you take with your Wii. It is a very popular channel, now an internet meme. They can even come in games even if it's not made by Nintendo. Your Mii can also come in your Wii games, like Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Play and much much more. Mii Channel is a channel where you can make people, also known as Miis. If you put a Wii disc in, then the disc both spin and after some time, the GameCube disc stops spinning and the Wii disc keeps spinning and it goes down then it goes to the game you want to play. It shows you can put a Wii disc and a Gamecube disc. Here are the following channels:ĭisc Channel shows all your games that you put in the Wii console. You can click a channel using the Wii Remote, move pages using the + or - button, or even go to the SD Ccard Menu by clicking the SD Card on the bottom of the Wii Menu. I've heard of people cleaning the lens and you can ship it to nintendo and ask them to clean it for you, but if you're moving your wii around at all like taking it to your local smash club, its going to stop reading again soon and thats just embarrassing. The Wii Menu is a menu that shows your games in a 4:3 grid. The reason the wii pulls this crap, is because Brawl is one of the few games that uses a dual-layer disc which the wii has a very hard time reading when the lens gets a little dirty. If you're absolutely against installing Homebrew and a usb loader, then maybe you could spend money on another brawl disc and switch it out just before hitting Play, but I highly recommend installing Homebrew and a USB loader and just completely moving away from the disc. If I swapped out the disc that initially started brawl with the one that runs it better but wasnt read from the wii menu after getting into the launcher, then pressed start it would work 90% of the time. I noticed that from the hackless launcher that when I hit Play 95% of the time I could hear the wii spinning the disc to attempt to read it for a second then it would clunk about for a few seconds and send me to the wii main menu. I had the same issue for a long time, my temporary solution was that I already had 2 brawl discs: one disc the wii would identify it as the game and initially load but stop reading the disc after a few games, the other could be played for as long as I wanted but the wii didnt identify it in the wii menu. ![]()
